Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

At Forge 29, many of our products are printed, manufactured, personalised or finished specifically for you. This means that the time between placing an order and receiving it usually includes both a production period and a delivery period.

We aim to provide clear, realistic delivery expectations and will always work to get your order to you as quickly as reasonably possible.

Order Processing & Production Times

Production times vary depending on the product, quantity, finishing requirements and level of customisation required.

Any estimated production or dispatch time shown on a product page is an estimate unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed deadline with you in writing.

Production normally begins once:

  • payment has been successfully received;
  • all required order information has been supplied;
  • any artwork required from you has been received in a usable format; and
  • where applicable, any artwork proof or specification requiring your approval has been approved.

Delays in supplying artwork, information or approvals may delay the production and delivery of your order.

Standard Printed Products

Many standard printed products are normally produced within the timescale shown on the relevant product page or during checkout.

Different products within the same order may have different production times.

Made-to-Order & Personalised Products

Personalised, customised and made-to-order products are manufactured specifically for your order.

Production times will depend on the product and manufacturing process involved. These products may take longer than standard stocked goods and should not be assumed to be available for immediate dispatch.

Bespoke & Manufactured Products

More complex products, including fabricated, CNC-machined, laser-cut, large-format, signage, display, fabrication and other bespoke manufacturing work, may be subject to an individually advised lead time.

Where appropriate, we will confirm an estimated production schedule before or following acceptance of your order.

Delivery Times

Delivery times begin after your order has completed production and has been dispatched.

Where available, the delivery service selected at checkout relates to the carrier’s expected transit time and does not replace or reduce the production time for the product.

For example, selecting a next-day delivery service does not necessarily mean that your order will arrive the day after it is placed. It means that, once production has been completed and the order has been dispatched, the carrier service is normally expected to deliver it on the next working day.

Delivery Services

We normally use tracked courier services, including DPD and other suitable national carriers, depending on the size, weight, destination and nature of the consignment.

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will normally be provided where the selected carrier supports this.

Larger, unusually shaped, palletised or specialist consignments may be sent using an alternative carrier or dedicated delivery service.

UK Mainland Delivery

Our standard delivery services are primarily intended for addresses within UK Mainland.

Delivery charges are calculated according to the order, service and destination and will normally be displayed during checkout or confirmed as part of a quotation.

Some locations may be subject to additional delivery charges or longer transit times.

Highlands, Islands & Remote Locations

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and other offshore or remote areas may attract an additional delivery charge and may take longer than standard UK Mainland deliveries.

Where our website does not automatically calculate an appropriate delivery charge, we may contact you before dispatch to confirm any additional cost.

For particularly large or heavy orders, we may provide a separate delivery quotation.

Multiple Parcels & Split Deliveries

An order containing multiple products may sometimes be dispatched in more than one parcel or directly from different production locations.

As a result, items from the same order may arrive separately.

Where practical, tracking information will be provided for each consignment.

Delivery Estimates

We will make reasonable efforts to meet any estimated production, dispatch or delivery date provided.

However, unless expressly agreed by us in writing as a guaranteed deadline, all delivery dates and timescales are estimates.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • carrier disruption;
  • severe weather;
  • traffic or transport disruption;
  • industrial action;
  • equipment failure;
  • supply-chain disruption;
  • shortages of materials;
  • unusually high order volumes; or
  • other events beyond our reasonable control.

We will communicate with you where we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order.

Urgent & Deadline-Sensitive Orders

If your order is required for a specific event, installation, campaign or other fixed deadline, please contact us before placing your order.

We may be able to offer an expedited production or delivery service depending on the product and our production capacity.

A deadline should not be considered guaranteed unless we have expressly confirmed this in writing.

Checking Your Delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If a parcel appears visibly damaged on arrival, please photograph the packaging before opening it wherever possible.

We recommend retaining the packaging until you have confirmed that the goods are complete and undamaged.

Damaged Goods

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery wherever reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • your order number;
  • a description of the damage;
  • photographs of the damaged item;
  • photographs of the external packaging; and
  • photographs of the delivery label where possible.

This information allows us to investigate the issue with the carrier and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this reporting period.

Missing Parcels

If tracking shows that an order has been delivered but you have not received it, please check:

  • around the delivery location;
  • with other members of your household or organisation;
  • with neighbours or reception staff; and
  • any safe-place information provided by the carrier.

If the parcel still cannot be located, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate with the carrier.

If a tracked consignment has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please also contact us so that we can investigate.

Incorrect Delivery Information

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered production or been passed to the carrier.

Where an order cannot be delivered because an incorrect or incomplete address has been supplied, additional redelivery or return-to-sender charges may apply.

Failed Delivery Attempts

Where a carrier is unable to complete delivery, they may:

  • attempt redelivery;
  • leave the parcel in an authorised safe place;
  • deliver it to a neighbouring address;
  • redirect it to a collection point; or
  • return it to us.

The options available will depend on the carrier and delivery service used.

If goods are returned to us following unsuccessful delivery attempts, additional delivery charges may apply before the order can be sent again.

Changes to Delivery Instructions

Once an order has been dispatched, any request to redirect, reschedule or amend the delivery is normally subject to the carrier’s systems and policies.

We cannot guarantee that amendments will be possible after dispatch.

Collection

Collection from our premises may be available for certain orders by prior arrangement.

Please do not travel to collect an order until we have confirmed that it is ready.

International Delivery

Unless specifically offered during checkout or agreed with us separately, our standard website delivery service is limited to the United Kingdom.

If you require delivery outside the UK, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether delivery is available and provide an appropriate quotation.

International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where you are purchasing as a consumer, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Contact Us

If you have any questions about production times, delivery services or an existing shipment, please contact us before placing your order or as soon as possible after identifying an issue.
